Is your Instagram strategy up-to-date?

Since August of 2020, Instagram has made multiple shifts towards short-form video to be able to compete with TikTok, through the introduction of Instagram Reels. And you may remember in December 2021, Instagram shared its plans to double down on video when they stated that they are “No longer a photo sharing app.”

Flash forward to July 2022, when Meta announced Instagram had officially begun phasing out the ability to create new Instagram video posts (traditional, horizontal, video posts that can be up to 15-minutes long) and start guiding users to create reels (verticle, short-form videos that are no longer than 90-seconds) instead.

What do all of these announcements mean? -If you want to grow on the Instagram platform, you need to start mastering reels and know how to leverage them for your brand.
